How to Create Follow-Up Intent? 🛠️

Click on the “JetBot” icon located in the bottom left corner of the main panel page. 🤖

Click on the "Edit Content" button on the screen that appears. ✏️

Identify an existing intent where you want to add the follow-up intent. Click on the "+" icon below the selected intent. ➕

When you click the "+" icon, specify the follow-up intent name in the "Intent Name" field under the "Create New Intent" notification. 🆕

Add the desired response type to the responses section of your follow-up intent. This ensures that any questions the user asks after the main intent are not left unanswered. 💬

We previously clicked the "+" icon under a main intent. If we want to create another follow-up intent related to that main intent, we should click the "+" icon again. ➕

However, if the newly created follow-up intent will have its own follow-up, we need to click the "+" icon under the newly created follow-up intent. ➕

Important to Note:

-User Says field: It does not have to be completed to 100. This is because the bot does not present the specific follow-up intent directly to the user but rather shows the main intent.

-User Says field: If we add the @@input.freetext input, the user will be directly connected to the follow-up intent after asking a question related to the main intent. However, if there will be multiple follow-up intents, adding this input would not be appropriate.

Linking a Keyword to a Follow-Up Intent 🔑: Assume we add a quick reply to the follow-up intent and want to connect the user who clicks this button to an existing or newly created intent in our chatbot. We need to define a keyword for this. We should add the defined keyword behind the button. With the added keyword, it becomes possible to link to the desired intent.

Linking a URL to a Follow-Up Intent 🌐: Assume we add a quick reply to the follow-up intent and want to direct the user to any intent on the website via our chatbot. We need to add the URL of the website behind the button. With the added URL, the user can be directed to the desired website.


Linking a Usersay to a Follow-Up Intent 🔄: Assume we add a quick reply to the follow-up intent and want to connect the user who clicks this button to an existing or newly created intent in our chatbot. We need to define a usersay for this. We should add the defined usersay behind the button. With the added usersay, it becomes possible to link to the desired intent.


Note: It would not be appropriate to link an untrained usersay. You can add a usersay if the training is completed. ✔️
