What is the Passive Button* (Deactivate After First Click) feature?

Bu yardım dokümanının Türkçe versiyonu için tıklayın.

The passive button feature (Disable After First Click) ensures that once a user selects a button, all buttons before this selection are automatically deactivated. This prevents the user from selecting the same button again. It is particularly useful in flows such as surveys, complaint forms, and call records, where it is important to prevent the user from navigating through multiple options and providing incorrect information. This feature helps maintain the correct flow of the bot and prevents unnecessary confusion.

In the following first example, the feature is turned off. Having this feature off can be useful in the current flow for getting consecutive responses/clicks on similar topics.

When this feature is active, once the user makes a selection for a specific intent, they cannot select other buttons related to that intent again. For example, in the image below, the ‘’Desktop’’ button is passive in the flow.

How to enable the Passive Button (Disable After First Click) feature?

1) Log in to your Jetlink account and click on the JetBot button on the left. Then, click the Edit Content button. Here you can view the chatbot content. Click on the intent for which you want to enable the Passive Button feature.

2) Click on the Advanced section on the page that opens. Under the Others heading at the bottom, enable the "Disable After First Click" option.

3) After performing the relevant action, that section will appear as shown in the image.

4) Then, click the Save button.

5) If you see this warning on the screen, the process has been successfully completed.

To disable this feature, simply deactivate the "Disabled After First Click" option and save.

Note: If the content has multiple sub-intents (as shown in the image), this process needs to be applied for each intent. For example, if you do not want users to click the buttons for the Channel Mobile and Channel Desktop intents again after they have already been clicked, the relevant action should be applied for these intents as well through the panel.

*This feature is only applicable in interfaces and platforms managed by Jetlink. It does not apply to WhatsApp flows.
